After a loooooooooooooooong and tumultuous off-season, it’s finally time to start a new Blue Jackets season. Most prognosticators think the 24th campaign will again find the team near the bottom of the standings. There are still reasons for hope for the future, however. The team enters the season with a new general manager and president of hockey operations, Don Waddell, and new head coach, Dean Evason. Both had success doing more with less in their previous stops (Carolina and Minnesota, respectively).
