David Clarkson named Blue Jackets Community MVP for 2015-16

COLUMBUS, OHIO – Before tonight’s season finale against the Chicago Blackhawks, the Columbus Blue Jackets presented forward David Clarkson with the club’s 2015-16 “Community MVP” award which recognizes the player who best exemplifies community stewardship. In honor of this commitment, Blue Jackets Majority Owner John P. McConnell and Blue Jackets Vice President of Community Relations Kathryn Dobbs presented Clarkson with the award along with a $5,000 donation from the club’s foundation to his charity of choice, the Boys & Girls Club of Columbus.

During the 2015-16 season, Clarkson invested nearly $200,000 for kids in the central Ohio community.
