The 2015 NHL Draft will go down as one of the best draft classes ever. Led by Connor McDavid, the class already has seven players who have broke the 100 point mark. In last night’s Calgary matchup, Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Zach Werenski became the seventh member with a goal in the first period.
Werenski, 21, becomes the second fastest defenseman in franchise history to score 100 points with the Jackets in his career, accomplishing the feat in only 182 games. Seth Jones barely beat out Z as Jones racked up 100 points in his first 178 games in his tenure with Columbus.
