The Columbus Blue Jackets AHL affiliate is having a solid run in their first season in the Eastern Conference. A shakeup in the league alignment has bumped the Cleveland Monsters over to the East and whether its the new league with shorter travel or just a newfound drive, the move has been working well for Zac Dalpe.
The former Ohio State Buckeye has been the Cleveland Monsters best player all year long and it’s starting to catch people’s attention. Although he has only been called up once to the NHL, he was invited and played for Team Canada at the Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland over the Christmas break.
