The Columbus Blue Jackets may have had a changing of the guard so to speak, as it appears that Joonas Korpisalo is getting into John Tortorella’s favor with the recent drama surrounding Sergei Bobrovsky. It would nearly be impossible to predict last season, or even a month ago, that Korpisalo would be relied on this heavily in the middle of the most important part of the season.
He’s had a good start to 2019, despite struggling most of 2018, with the loss to the Montreal Canadiens being the only bad game he’s really had since January 1st.
