The Columbus Blue Jackets face divisional rival and reigning Stanley Cup champions, the Washington Capitals in the nation’s capital tonight. The Jackets are 1-1-0 against the Capitals this season, with the last game being 4-0 in favor of the opposition.
This will likely be a goaltending duel as Isabelle Khursudyan confirmed on Twitter (see below) that Braden Holtby will get the start for the Capitals, while the Blue Jackets starter has yet to be confirmed. It’s reasonable to assume that Sergei Bobrovsky will get the start for Columbus though considering he’s rested after missing the last game.
