Banged up and needing a spark, the Columbus Blue Jackets have turned to Jussi Jokinen to add some depth up front. The 34-year-old forward was placed on waivers by the Los Angeles Kings after only playing 18 games with them and now picked up by the CBJ. This will be Jokinen’s third team in the NHL already this season.
The Finnish forward started the year off in Edmonton where he was signed by the Oilers to a one year, $1.1 million contract in the offseason. He was traded to Los Angeles for forward Mike Cammalleri.
