I was fortunate enough to be able to have a phone conversation with fan-favorite, and former tough guy, Jody Shelley, a veteran of 12 NHL seasons across four clubs — Columbus Blue Jackets, San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers, and Philadelphia Flyers. Over that span of 627 career games, Shelley racked up 54 points and over 1,500 minutes in the penalty box.
