Well, today was Blue Jackets forward (and former Chicago Blackhawk) Brandon Saad's day. And, if we do say so ourselves, it was a day well spent.
The 22-year-old Pittsburgh native spent the day at the 911th Airlift Wing, which according to its website, "includes approximately 1,220 Air Force Reserve members that provide force support in various military career specialties. The base also employs approximately 350 Department of Defense civilians. Many of these civilians hold a dual status within the Air Reserve Technician program. In addition, nearly 100 contractors provide Base support functions. When mobilization occurs, the unit primarily supports the Air Force's Air Mobility Command.
