COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Columbus Blue Jackets forward Boone Jenner and defenseman Ryan Murray are among the first 18 players selected to represent Canada at the 2016 IIHF World Championships to be held from May 6-22 in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, Hockey Canada announced on Monday.
Jenner, 22, set career highs with 30 goals and 19 assists for 49 points and 77 penalty minutes in 82 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He finished second on Columbus in goals and power play goals (nine) and third-T in points and was one of three Jackets to play in all 82 games (Murray, Gregory Campbell).
