COLUMBUS, OHIO --- The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed center Justin Scott to a three-year entry level contract, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. As is club policy, terms were not disclosed.
Scott, 20, registered 28 goals and 37 assists for 65 points with 60 penalty minutes, a +32 plus/minus rating and 17 multi-point games in 67 outings with the Ontario Hockey League’s Barrie Colts during the 2015-16 regular season. Serving as an alternate captain, he set career highs in assists, points, penalty minutes and plus/minus, while leading the club in games played, finishing fourth on the club in goals and plus/minus (tied) and fifth in assists and points.
