COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled right wing Oliver Bjorkstrand and center Michael Chaput from Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. The team has also added defenseman John Ramage to the roster on emergency recall from the Monsters.
Bjorkstrand, 20, has recorded 15 goals and 10 assists for 25 points with eight penalty minutes in 46 games with the Monsters this season. Playing in his first professional season, he leads the club in power play goals (five) and is tied for third in goals.
