COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have added defenseman Justin Falk to the roster on emergency recall from Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters, the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced tonight.
Falk, 27, has recorded two penalty minutes and a -2 plus/minus rating in four games with the Blue Jackets this season. He has added 2-3-5 and 26 penalty minutes in 17 games with Lake Erie.
The Snowflake, Manitoba native has collected 2-17-19 and 136 penalty minutes in 151 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild and NY Rangers, including 1-1-2 and nine penalty minutes in nine games since joining the Jackets via trade last March.
