Blue Jackets assign forward Josh Anderson to Lake Erie (AHL)


COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned right wing Josh Anderson to Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.

Anderson, 21, has registered a goal and two assists for three points with two penalty minutes in 10 games with the Blue Jackets this season. He tallied his first career NHL goal on January 9 vs. Carolina. He has added 9-9-18 with 58 penalty minutes and a +1 plus/minus rating in 26 games with Lake Erie.

The Burlington, Ontario native has recorded 1-3-4 with four penalty minutes in 16 career NHL games with Columbus since making his NHL debut last season.
