COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky off Injured Reserve and assigned goaltender Joonas Korpisalo to Cleveland’s Lake Erie Monsters, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today.
Bobrovsky, 27, has missed the past 19 games since suffering a groin strain on January 21 vs. Calgary. He is 11-13-1 with a 2.65 goals-against average, .911 save percentage and one shutout in 27 games this season. The Novokuznetsk, Russia native has compiled a 136-84-25 record with a 2.52 goals-against average, .918 save percentage and 12 shutouts in 257 career NHL games with the Blue Jackets and Philadelphia Flyers.
