Bjorkstrand's OT goal clinches Monsters' first-ever Calder Cup championship

CLEVELAND – By virtue of a 1-0 overtime win over the Hershey Bears in Game 4 of the Calder Cup Finals on Saturday at The Q, the Lake Erie Monsters claimed their first Calder Cup in franchise history, Cleveland’s tenth Calder Cup ever and first AHL Championship since 1964, in front of a sellout crowd of 19,665, the largest crowd in Monsters franchise history and the second-largest crowd in the 80-year history of the Calder Cup Playoffs.
