According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Becky Hammon is set to become Gregg Popovich's top assistant with the San Antonio Spurs.
Spurs have promoted assistant coach Becky Hammon to the front of the bench, replacing James Borrego.

In March the former Colorado State Ram had discussions with CSU about becoming its next head men's basketball coach but ultimately decided to stay in the NBA. Later that month Niko Medved was hired for the position.
Hammon recently wrapped up her fourth season with the Spurs after becoming the first full-time female assistant coach in NBA history.
