Over the last few weeks, five former Colorado State Rams football players have competed in college all-star games. On Saturday, both the East-West Shrine Game and NFLPA Collegiate Bowl were played, with four former Rams suiting up.
In the East-West Shrine Game, it was tight end Kivon Cartwright and linebacker Cory James, while offensive lineman Sam Carlson and cornerback DeAndre Elliott played in the Collegiate Bowl later that day.
The biggest highlight of the day came when Cartwright caught a touchdown from West quarterback Vernon Adams. It started a 29 straight point run by the West as they won 29-9.
