FORT COLLINS — Fifteen catches, 265 yards and two touchdowns.
That's not a stat line from Michael Gallup, although last year he did go off for 13/263/3 against Nevada. Nor does it belong to Rashard Higgins, who once exploded for 6/178/4 against Air Force.
Those are Warren Jackson's career numbers at Colorado State. Granted, he's only been on campus a year, but it gives you an idea of what he's accomplished so far compared to two of his well-known predecessors.
And yet despite the relative lack of production (Higgins totaled 68/837/6 as a freshman in 2013), the hype building around Jackson is starting to rival his massive 6-foot-6, 219-pound frame.
