The Colorado State women put together two 21-point quarters against Utah State on Monday, but it wasn't enough to overcome Shannon Dufficy during a 70-59 defeat, the Rams' eighth in a row.
The first of two strong offensive quarters came in the opening frame as CSU ended it with a 21-14 lead. Over the next two periods, though, the Aggies' offense was the one making the difference. The Rams scored only 17 points to give Utah State a 15-point advantage after three.
Despite matching their opening output in the final stanza, it was too late for the Rams to nullify Dufficy's production.
