For the second straight season, the Rocky Mountain Showdown will be played on a Friday, set for Sept. 1 with the release of the 2017 Pac-12 schedule by the conference on Wednesday.
Colorado State and Colorado will face off at Sports Authority Field, with the kickoff time and possible television schedule to be announced later. Last year, the game saw an increased attendance for the fifth straight year and the crowd of 69.850 was the best crowd since 76,219 were on hand in 2003. It was televised by ESPN.
