Colorado State redshirt junior defensive back Justin Sweet was arrested for DUI early Wednesday morning per the Coloradoan, who was first on the story.
The 21-year old Sweet was pulled over for speeding at the intersection of Laurel Street and College Avenue and then arrested for drunk driving charges and booked into the Larimer County jail at 12:59 a.m. He was then released at 7:49 a.m. Wednesday morning.
When we reached out to the school, head coach Mike Bobo was unavailable for comment, as he’s out coaching youth camps currently.
Sweet was listed as one of the team’s starting safeties during spring practice, and over the last two years, he’s played in 14 games for the Rams.
