FORT COLLINS — Colorado State wide receiver Rashard Higgins was named first-team all-Mountain West on Tuesday, the only Ram to earn the distinction.
Overall, eight CSU players earned recognition in voting done by coaches and media. Punter Hayden Hunt, linebacker Cory James, quarterback Nick Stevens and guard Fred Zerblis were all named to the second team, while linebacker Kevin Davis, safety Trent Matthews, offensive tackle Sam Carlson and tight end Kivon Cartwright earned honorable mention recognition.
