Quarterback Coleman Key leaving Colorado State

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State announced in a Monday release that backup quarterback Coleman Key will be transferring out of the program at the end of the season. Key, who asked for and was granted his release, will remain with the team through the Arizona Bowl on Dec. 29.

"We appreciate Coleman's time here and his contribution to this team," said head coach Mike Bobo in a release. "He has expressed his desire to pursue other opportunities and we wish him all the best in that pursuit. He will be with us through the bowl game and be part of this team before pursuing those options next semester.
