FORT COLLINS — Preston Williams, one off the top recruits coming out of high school in 2015, signed a financial aid agreement with Colorado State on Monday and will join the program when he enrolls for classes in January.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder was ranked the No. 7 receiver nationally when he came out of Lovejoy High School (Geo.) in 2015. He signed with Tennessee, but left that program in October and was granted a release from his scholarship by coach Butch Jones.
He played in eight games for the Vols as a freshman and four more this season, finishing with 16 catches for 247 yards and two scores in his career.
