Last week, the defense had the upper hand. Saturday, it was time for some payback.
Powered by its running game and experienced offensive line, the Colorado State offense had the upper hand during a 125-play scrimmage at Hughes Stadium, the Rams' second and final scrimmage of fall camp.
"The offense was able to get some things going early, and momentum kinda took over," coach Mike Bobo said after the practice, which was open to season ticket holders but closed to the media and public. "I think a lack of depth defensively hurt us. We got fatigued, missed a lot of tackles, really didn't play with the effort that we need.
