FRESNO, Calif. — Two clutch shots — one by Myanne Hamm at the end of regulation and one by Ellen Nystrom at the end of overtime — sent the Colorado State women's basketball team to one of its most impressive comeback victories in a long time.
Hamm's 3-pointer with nine seconds left in the fourth quarter sent the game to overtime and capped the Rams' second-half comeback in which they were down 11 in the third quarter and by eight with five minutes left.
Then Nystrom sank a game-winning jumper with just a few seconds left in the extra period, lifting CSU to a 66-64 victory at Fresno State at the Save Mart Center on Saturday.
