Nystrom reaches 1,000 career points in CSU women's win over Adams State

FORT COLLINS — The losing streak was as modest as it gets. Just two games — the first consecutive losses for the program since the end of the 2014-15 season.

Still, it didn't sit well with the Colorado State women's basketball team.

And now it's history after the Rams raced past Division II Adams State 76-29 on Wednesday at Moby Arena.

"I think we needed some confidence," senior guard Ellen Nystrom said. "We've been struggling shooting 3s, so now we can get into our head that we can make them.
