They're not all going to be works of art, and this one certainly wasn't. But once again, the No. 25 Colorado State women's basketball team got the job done.
The Rams erased an eight-point first-quarter deficit, went up a dozen in the fourth and hung on for dear life for a 49-48 victory at New Mexico on Wednesday.
This was the second straight game the Rams have survived a close call after a five-point win at rival Wyoming on Saturday.
"As far as toughness, closeness, gut checks, getting tough stops, executing when the game is on the line, these two games have really prepared us," CSU coach Ryun William said during his postgame radio interview.
