FORT COLLINS — The signs coaches look for are all there.

Over the past six weeks, Tom Hilbert has seen his No. 18 Colorado State team grow more comfortable with the new 6-2 system as the players adapt to their roles and build a chemistry on the court.

A disheartening trip to Texas the middle of September had the Rams dropping in the polls and losing to then-No. 4 Texas in three sets and Texas A&M in five, a match where CSU lacked the fight that has been a trademark in the program.
