AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Air Force was able to snap one streak against Colorado State, just not the one that really matters.
Having dropped 66 straight sets as the Rams had reeled off 22 consecutive sweeps against the Falcons, host Air Force was able to fight off a set point to take the opener, 26-24.
But that was it. Order was restored in the final three sets as the No. 15 Rams won their 14th straight this year to move to 13-0 in Mountain West play by posting set wins of 25-19, 25-20, 25-21.
Now 20-3 on the season, Colorado State took another step toward winning a seventh consecutive conference title with just five matches remaining.
