FORT COLLINS — Colorado State was going to have to wait until Sunday to find out about starting quarterback Collin Hill. Saturday night, they figured out a little bit about their former starter, Nick Stevens.
When Hill went down with a knee injury in the fourth quarter at the end of a 19-yard scramble that kept alive a drive that would allow the Rams to tie the game with Utah State, Stevens was called to action at a key moment for the first time since the opening loss to Colorado.
