Mistakes doom CSU football in loss to San Diego State

SDSU 41, CSU 17

What went right — The first 28 minutes. Colorado State was moving the ball on offense and stuffing the run, leading 10-7 at one point.

What went wrong — The final 32 minutes. Nick Stevens threw a trio of interceptions — one for a pick-six — and the Aztecs were rolling to a 5-0 conference mark.

Who played well — Linebacker Deonte Clyburn. Making his second start at middle linebacker, he led the team with 11 tackles and even ran 13 yards for a first down on a fake punt.
