FORT COLLINS — Mike Bobo didn't want to be in the hospital. Nobody does, but he definitely didn't want to be in there for 10 days.
"It seemed like an eternity," the Colorado State head football coach said Wednesday, three days out from the season opener Saturday against Hawaii at Canvas Stadium (5:30 p.m.).
But what he hated most was being away from his football team since Aug. 11, when he checked himself into a hospital following a scrimmage, growing concerned when he started feeling numbness in his feet and shots of pain up his legs.
