Mike Bobo finalized his coaching staff for the upcoming Colorado State football season Friday when he announced the hire of Nick Jones to coach the team's tight ends and serve as a co-special teams coordinator with Chase Gibson.
With his addition, former tight ends coach Joe Cox will transition to wide receivers coach to fill the void left by Alvis Whitted's departure to the Green Bay Packers. Jones has been present at CSU's spring practices since Tuesday, but Bobo couldn't announce the hire until the human resources department made it official.
The Bowdon, Georgia native joins CSU after one year coaching tight ends at Air Force.
