After getting blown out by Kansas State five days ago, Colorado State has now lost two games in the final seconds. The Rams (8-5) suffered a tough road defeat to Long Beach State (4-11) Thursday night by a final score of 56-55.
Neither team could get anything going offensively. CSU shot 32 percent from the field while LBSU shot just 31 percent. The Rams did take advantage of turnovers by the 49ers, scoring 14 points off their mistakes. Larry Eustachy’s crew also took advantage 22 second chance points.
However, CSU got outrebounded once again as LBSU held 56-45 edge on the glass.
