FORT COLLINS — An alignment may be off, and some plays will be run incorrectly. In spring practice for Colorado State, missed assignments may be common, especially with a defensive system being installed from scratch.
Yet through the first week, head coach Mike Bobo has no complaints with how things are being done and how the squad is being directed.
The numbers on the field are short due to graduations and injury, but leadership is not in short supply, and it's continuing to develop.
"It's just the standard that the seniors that left us with, to make sure we leave the right way," linebacker Josh Watson said.
