The Rams played one of their better games of the season against the best team in the Mountain West just hours after finding out on social media that athletic director Joe Parker has asked Eustachy to step away while Parker concludes his investigation into the way Eustachy has been running his program.
CSU did its best to give Nevada its second loss in Mountain West play under the direction of interim head coach Steve Barnes, a longtime Eustachy assistant.
