Lack of offensive production downs CSU in first loss of season

Colorado State men’s basketball took their first loss of the season Sunday afternoon, losing on the road to Stanford 56-49. The Rams now sit at 2-1 through the first eight days of their 2016-17 campaign.

In previous two games against New Mexico State and Fort Lewis, CSU got solid scoring performances from Braden Koelliker, Emmanuel Omogbo and Che Bob. That trio combined for just 15 points in this one.

CSU shot 29 percent from the field in the first half to go with only three assists and 11 turnovers. The Cardinal sported a 35-23 lead at the break.
