After trying out for the team, former Colorado State standout WR Joe Hanlsey officially signed with the Oakland Raiders Monday, and will likely have a spot on the team’s 90-man roster throughout training camp. The 5-foot-10 wide receiver was one of the most versatile and exciting players in CSU history and has been proving people wrong his entire career.
As an undersized wide receiver, Hansley used precise route running to get open, and his soft hands made him a consistent threat in the passing game. As a return man, Hansley was deadly, and this is likely where he will have the best chance to make an impact in the NFL.
