They may be new to their posts, but for Jamie Bryant and Joe Cox, there are different measures of the word for the men hired by Colorado State coach Mike Bobo to take over the tasks of the departed Jeff Hammerschmidt.
For Bryant, who will be Colorado State special teams coordinator and safeties coach, this will be his first year at the school, but he has 20 years of experience in the business. Yet he's still behind Cox — officially in his first season as a college coach — in one aspect, and that's familiarity with his surroundings.
