Gian Clavell reinstated by CSU athletic department following suspension

Colorado State’s Gian Clavell will make his season debut Saturday afternoon when the Rams face the University of Northern Colorado.

Clavell, who most people pegged as CSU’s team leader ahead of the opener, was suspended indefinitely following a Nov. 9 arrest on a misdemeanor charge of false imprisonment with a domestic violence enhancement. The 6-4 senior guard from Puerto Rico missed the first nine games of the season, though the Rams went 7-2 without him.

“The University has completed its process of reviewing the incident involving Gian Clavell and his arrest on November 9.
