Colorado State's football program picked up a sixth verbal commitment and the second from Woodland Academy out of College Park, GA., when defensive back Jeffrey Hubbard made his pledge to the Rams via Twitter on Monday.
Hubbard is a teammate of Ryan Glover, a quarterback who verbally committed earlier in the month. Both are three-star recruits according to Rivals.com.
Hubbard, a 5-foot-10, 170-pounder, is the second defensive recruit to give a verbal to CSU, joining linebacker Connor Kaminski out of Florida. All six are from east of the Mississippi River.
Hubbard, who had a large number of offers, a handful from Power 5 schools, recorded 31 tackles last season, intercepting three passes.
