Four-star receiver Tyler Smith commits to Colorado State football

The playmakers just keep coming for Colorado State. Ryan Krous of Scout.com reported Saturday night that the Rams nabbed four-star wide receiver Tyler Smith from McEachern High School in Georgia.

The 6-foot, 185-pounder played sparingly with the Indians due to a pair of knee injuries suffered during his junior and season seasons. But it was the receiver’s 2014-15 campaign that had college coaches across the nation drooling.

In his sophomore season, the McEachern standout totaled 48 catches for 936 yards and 15 total touchdowns. Smith received offers from Auburn, Georgia, Michigan and North Carolina State before verbally committing to North Carolina.
