Coach Mike Bobo and Colorado State made a pretty big splash during their bye week, nabbing a receiver that spent time in the SEC. Demarre Kitt, a four-star receiver in Clemson’s 2014 recruiting class, tweeted Sunday that he will join the green and gold.
A 6-foot-1, 185-pounder, Kitt played just one season for the Tigers. He posted five catches for 47 yards.
Kitt then went the junior college route, spending this season at Highland Community College in Kansas. In seven games, he’s nabbed 30 catches for 489 yards and four touchdowns.
The receiver will be eligible to play immediately in 2017 and has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
