FORT COLLINS — For the Colorado State women's basketball team to make its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2002, it's been widely assumed the Rams would have to win their conference tournament, something that's alluded them the past two seasons after winning the regular season title.
The Mountain West simply isn't more than a one-bid league.
However, after finishing non-conference play 10-1, an at-large berth might not be so far-fetched. The Rams would obviously have to dominate MW play, but it's not impossible.
CSU has an RPI of 55 and boasts an impressive win over BYU, which is 11th in the RPI and knocked off then-No.
