GREELEY — Now more than two weeks into the season, Saturday's Keith Wiedeman Invitational provided a nice early checkpoint for teams competing in a meet of that size for the first time this spring.
And for Loveland and Mountain View, the early returns were nothing but positive.
Boosted by a pair of wins by Jackson Buyers, the Indians finished third out of the 11 teams with 292 points. Fossil Ridge was head and shoulders above the rest with 480 points, ahead of second-place and host Greeley West with 299.
