FORT COLLINS — Convince a player to shoot more?
As odd as it may seem, it's been one of Ryun Williams' top priorities this season.
After losing a pair of all-conference players from last year's team that went 31-2, the Colorado State women's basketball coach knew that in order for the Rams to keep their success going in 2016-17, it meant having their best player, Ellen Nystrom, taking on a much more assertive scoring mentality.
For most players, that's a dream come true.
But not for Nystrom, who grew up in Sweden where the game is taught much differently with a greater emphasis on passing.
