Just a few days after a career-high 33 points in a win over Seattle on Sunday, Ellen Nystrom stayed in the zone and scored 27 points to lead the Colorado State women's basketball team to a 63-49 road win at Montana on Wednesday night in Missoula.
Nystrom scored 13 points in the third quarter and added seven rebounds and four assists in the game to help the Rams finish non-conference play 8-4.
Callie Kaiser continued to play well in her third straight game as a starter, scoring all 13 of her points in the first half as CSU jumped out to a 10-point lead after one quarter before settling for a nine-point lead at halftime (33-26).
