Elin Gustavsson's play, attitude leading Colorado State women's basketball at Mountain West tournament

LAS VEGAS — Four players on the Colorado State women's basketball team averaged double figures this season. Three of them made the 10-player all-Mountain West team.

The one Ram not recognized by the league's 11 coaches, Elin Gustavsson, is the biggest reason why CSU is one win away from locking down its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 14 years.

Getting passed on for an individual award is the least of Gustavsson's concerns right now. The only thing the junior forward from Angelholm, Sweden, cares about is beating Fresno State in Friday's conference tournament title game.

"I'm super happy for my teammates, and I'm super happy for my team, and I don't think that has been in the back of my head," she said.
